Kim Barlow-Miles Counselling

My Services: Personal Counselling/Supervision

Since 2001, I have been counselling individuals, couples and groups, often short-term (6-8 sessions), using a solution-focused approach from a Person-centred Humanistic stance. I also work longer-term as required.

I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, and have found this type of therapy to be paticularly successful for some clients with depression, general anxiety and  Post-Traumatic Stress.

I offer counselling for the following difficulties:

Stress (distress);  Depression;  Post-traumatic Stress; Coping with life changes, loss and bereavement; Family relationship problems; Partner relationship problems; AnxietyPhobias;  Worrying and obsessions.

Sessions are usually weekly, lasting 50 minutes, and fees range from £45/£50 per session. (Student/unemployed persons’ rates available). Some clients attend on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
